To help and facilitate academics and researchers in their everyday work, SIEPEL is proud to present its new compact fully anechoic chamber, called LETO.
This Compact Chamber intends to be installed in your lab so that students, researchers and even private companies can get their hands on the world of antenna measurement at a wise and efficient price while enjoying a world class manufactured fully anechoic chamber.
Measuring parameters is a must to introduce at the stage of developing new antennas. Mainly dedicated to test antenna parameters like gain and radiation pattern, this chamber will also allow you to perform pre-compliant EMC tests.
Its reduced dimensions allow you to install it in almost any standard office building. Indeed, the chamber dimensions are 2.52 m (L) x 1.91 m (l) x 2.3 m (H).
The shielded room is made of SIEPEL’s sandwich panels with our patented omega profiles which will assure you of the quality of your compact chamber and enable a future relocation (dismantling / erection without performances loss). It is fitted with SIEPEL electromagnetic door with the "knife-edge” technology, one honeycomb grid for air flow, one feedthrough panel for RF connectors, one power filter and one electrical kit.
Its six faces are covered with broadband pyramidal electromagnetic absorbers: APM12 and APM20 to keep the maximum available space inside.
These absorbers are tested in-house in our factory in France to ensure you guaranteed values of reflectivity as per the table below.

Please find hereafter the chamber’s characteristics when tested with a double ridge broadband horn antenna (e.g. Schwarzbeck BBH9120B).
With a one foot quiet zone diameter, the free space VSWR method allows to evaluate the performances of an antenna related to a chamber and to give the Quiet Zone guaranteed perturbation level at a distance of 6'.
